Vault is the storage surface for the verified identity record. It keeps documents, certifications, and verification outputs attached to the person they belong to instead of scattering identity records across every platform that needs an answer.
CAIRL begins with a continuing identity for the person. They authorize what is relevant to an interaction, and the receiving service gets the appropriate proof or information without gaining control of unrelated identity or history.
For a person's identity, that means supported identity documents, certifications, and verification history can remain connected in one place. For infrastructure workflows, Vault can provide the controlled source record behind enrollment, hosted verification, and authorized claims sharing.
